Amy Peterson is the founder of Words Move Objects. She provides writing, editing, and consultancy services to individuals and organizations. Amy holds a BA in philosophy from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and an MFA in creative writing from Brooklyn College. She has worked in-house for several educational and medical publishers, where she gained deep expertise in manuscript preparation, production, and publication. She is also an educator who has taught composition, creative writing, literature, critical theory, and grammar at Bard Prison Initiative, Maryland Institute College of Art, and Goucher College. She lives in New York’s Hudson Valley.
